We build worlds worth playing in.

We make our own games — and we help other studios make theirs. Design, visual art and audio, developed together rather than bolted on at the end.

Who we are

We don't just bring ideas to life — we build immersive worlds by combining audio, visual arts and mechanical design.

Zeroot Studios is an independent game development and design studio dedicated to crafting passionate interactive experiences and creative digital solutions.

Every project starts with a question — how should this feel? From there we move as one team: the sound informs the art, the art informs the systems, and the systems make the whole thing worth coming back to.

See how we work with partners

Audio

Sound is the first thing a player feels. We design SFX, score and atmosphere as part of the mechanic, not as a layer applied at the end.

Visual Arts

Expressive characters, readable interfaces and a coherent art direction that holds up in a screenshot and in motion.

Mechanical Design

Core loops, economies and balance. The invisible architecture that decides whether a game is fun on the fiftieth run, not just the first.

The five DiceZ Royale characters — Pirate, Napoleon, Dink, Explorer and Viking — charging forward together across a glowing purple battlefield.

Coming soon

DiceZ Royale

Our debut flagship title is a competitive strategy dice game that blends tactical decision‑making with dynamic fortune. Quick to pick up, hard to put down, and never quite the same match twice.

Strategic Depth & Luck

A fast-paced experience where every roll shapes your destiny, and quick thinking dictates victory. Fortune opens the door — strategy walks through it.

Characters & PowerUps

Original character designs paired with dynamic PowerUp abilities that shift the tides of battle — plus deep tactical customisation for every playstyle.

Competitive Multiplayer

A balanced matchmaking framework built for instant, real-time battles against friends or players worldwide.

  • The Napoleon character: a masked penguin in a navy bicorne hat with gold epaulettes and a red sash. Napoleon
  • Dink: a masked penguin in a black hood with a trailing orange headband. Dink
  • The Explorer character: a masked penguin in an olive safari hat and jacket with a dice satchel. Explorer
  • The Viking character: a masked penguin in a horned helmet carrying a round wooden shield. Viking

How we work

Four steps, one team.

Small studio, short lines. You talk to the people making the thing — no handoffs through three layers of account management.

01

Discover

We pull apart the idea — audience, references, constraints, and the feeling you're chasing. You get a written direction before any work starts.

02

Design

Systems, art direction and audio identity get defined together, so nothing has to be retrofitted later.

03

Build

Production in short, reviewable cycles. You see playable or hearable progress rather than status reports.

04

Polish

Balancing, motion, mix and the last ten percent — the part that separates a finished product from a working one.
